The organizers of the 2020 Advanced Accelerator Concepts Workshop (AAC2020) have canceled this year’s event due to an abundance of caution surrounding the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic. This difficult decision was taken with the well-being of our colleagues, staff, and the local community foremost.
We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and thank you for your interest in AAC2020. We will be in touch as we learn more in this rapidly evolving situation that affects us all.
Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory is unable to reimburse travel expenses, including any cancellation or change fees; please work with your home institution for this.

To register for AAC 2020, first submit a Request for Invitation. Upon approval of the request, you will receive an e-mailed invitation containing a link to our secure registration site.
If you received notification that you are invited to attend, but not the registration link, please contact us at aac2020@lbl.gov.
Registration Fees
General Registration:
Through May 1, 2020 $900
After May 1, 2020 $995
Student Registration:
Through May 1, 2020 $450
After May 1, 2020 $500
The workshop registration fee covers admission to the technical sessions, workshop materials, the workshop proceedings, refreshment breaks daily, the Opening Reception on Sunday evening, the Poster Reception on Tuesday evening, and the Banquet on Wednesday evening.
The registration fee does not include the cost of lodging and daily meals. Your lodging registration is separate.
Cancellation Policy
Pre-paid registration fees are refundable, less a US $100 processing fee, if notification of cancellation submitted in writing and sent to aac2020@lbl.gov by May 31, 2020. Cancellations after May 31, 2020 will result in forfeiture of the entire registration fee. You may choose to send a substitute registrant, in which case there will be no cancellation fee. Please inform us by e-mail of the substitute's name.
This applies to conference registration only. Be sure to also contact Asilomar (or, if you are staying offsite, your hotel) to cancel your lodging, in accordance with their own cancellation policies.
